FEED MY PEEPS was blessed to share with Pastor Rebekka Smith at Higher Heights Ministry in North City on February 7th. We hosted a day of love sharing toys, books, shoes, clothes, household treasures and great eats to a neglected community near Fairground Park. It’s simply good in our hood!
It was a pleasure to serve our friends at Mission: St. Louis who are in the Job and Leadership Training Program. Thank you Jennifer, Ashley and Lisa for serving a hearty and healthy meal to the men.
Letter of testimony from Amy Primm, Job and Leadership Training Operations Manager at Mission: St. Louis:
“FEED MY PEEPS has been a wonderful partner with Mission: St. Louis to provide meals for our Job and Leadership Training program. By using tablecloths, china and table decorations, they transform a classroom into a fancy dining room and make our students and volunteers feel like special guests of honor. We are thankful that they are able to connect with community resources to provide quality meals for our program. FEED MY PEEPS makes our students feel appreciated and well cared for by serving them a delicious meal!”
Thank you to our friends at Gordon Food Service in Ballwin and also in Maplewood. They bless FEED MY PEEPS with great food so we can serve those in need. We have dedicated volunteers that pick up from Gordon Food Service. We ensure that nothing goes to waste. FEED MY PEEPS is able to serve foster families, soup kitchens, homeless guests and families with limited resources because Gordon Food Service believes in giving back to our community.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!!!
This past year has exceeded our expectations. We thought feeding peeps was the calling. BAM we’ve been blessed with toys, books, shoes, clothes, household items and furniture. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure! We’re able to host monthly outreach events in neglected communities with your generosity.
The culinary community continues to support us with nutritious food made from scratch. Trader Joe’s and Gordon Food Service provides us with more fresh produce, bread, dairy, protein and flowers. We’re able to serve foster families, soup kitchens, homeless camps, troubled teens, families with limited resources and nuns and priests with this abundant surplus.
Washington University School of Law assisted FEED MY PEEPS in 2014 with our application for 501(c)3 non profit status. We received our charitable organization stamp of approval from Mr. IRS in less than seven weeks. God directed that application for this we know!
We launched our new website www.feedmypeeps.org which allows us to share our testimony with others. We’re grateful for the grant money and financial favor that allows us to operate with 100% of your donation going toward ministry needs. Our volunteers rock as they serve those in need without pay.
2014 was great and God’s given us a snapshot of 2015. Are you ready to MAKE A DIFFERENCE as we serve those in need?
Happy New Year from our home to yours!
